Who is The Foundry for?

“What is a Young Adult?”

We’ve gotten this question a lot since we first started dreaming about this ministry. This is a question that we both hate and love to answer.

We hate to answer the question because it isn’t a clear cut answer. We say we are a ministry for young adults and everyone has their own interpretation of what that means.

And we love to answer the question because it isn’t a clear cut answer. It's messy and hard to define and we think that is pretty reflective of God’s Kingdom.

So let us try to answer this question with a clear (as possible) answer...

The Foundry is for Young Adults in the San Antonio area. We’ll never check your ID, so you can “self-identify” as young adult. If you feel better knowing a number, we can say 18-39 “ish”. 

The Foundry is for the single people, the dating couples, the married couples, the young families… All life stages are welcome.

The Foundry is for the people who have things in common, but not necessarily everything... like the 18 year old in their first year of working full time and trying to figure out balancing work and personal life and the 28 year old still figuring out the balancing act; the stay at home parents and the singles; the person who has gone back to school while still working full time and the person who is a decade into an established career...

So, who is The Foundry for? Perhaps it's for you… And we’d love to help you figure that out!
