How is it possible that we are just a few weeks away from 2024?
But we are. And with the new year will come a new schedule for The Foundry and things are going to look just a little different this time around.

Our hopes for The Foundry essentially boil down to two things:
connect young adults with each other (hang outs).
connect young adults with the local church (church connection points).

hang outs

This Spring, we are looking forward to having a few different ways for folks to hang out. These hang outs are simply about helping people get to know each other and build community. Join us when it works for your schedule/needs and is something you’d enjoy!

Monthly, we will get together for Pickleball (First Sunday, 2-4pm, at Chicken N Pickle) and Trivia (Third Tuesday, 7:30-9:30pm, at Flying Saucer).

We’ll also have one-off events that happen throughout the Spring including Gastrochurch (we’re hoping to do this about every other month), service opportunities, and more.

church connection points

The local church is an important place of belonging and transformation and there are certainly many ways to connect with local churches here in San Antonio. While The Foundry has strong roots at University Methodist Church, we are grateful to have connections with various churches and we are happy to help you find ways to connect however we can.

Some of the ways you can connect with us at University include The Gathering Place (Every Sunday, 9:30am) and Wednesday Night Programming (Every Wednesday, 6:30pm), as well as Small Groups (launching again in February).
